Between packing, airport stress, delayed boarding, uncomfortable seats, crying babies somewhere in the background, and trying to sleep sitting upright like a pretzel… flying long distance isn’t always the glamorous travel moment we imagine on Pinterest.

And if you’re anything like me, making the flight feel as comfortable and peaceful as possible becomes part of the travel experience itself.

Over the years, I’ve learned that less truly is more when it comes to packing for flights. I don’t like carrying heavy bags or filling my carry-on with unnecessary things “just in case.” I’d rather travel lighter, smarter, and bring only the essentials that genuinely make a difference.
